A week of warm-up prompts that get students settled and thinking in five minutes.
Prompt preview
Write 5 bell ringers for grades 6-8, one per day, for this week's topic: Ratios and rates. Style: Spiral review: each one revisits a skill from earlier units and connects it to this week's topic. Each should be answerable in 5 minutes without help, and work written on the board. Include a one-line answer or discussion note for me. I teach [Subject] to [Grade] at [School], a [public / private / charter] school. My class has [Number] students, including English learners and students with IEPs or 504 plans. Write at a reading level my students can handle, use clear headings and short paragraphs, and keep materials printable in black and white. Never invent student names, scores, diagnoses or personal details: use placeholders like [Student] where something is missing. Align to my state standards when I name them, and keep everything inclusive and age-appropriate.
