Create a worksheet on "Finding the main idea of a paragraph" for grades 3-5, with 8 questions per version. Make one version for each of these levels, with the same content and answer key format: - Approaching: shorter texts, sentence starters, word banks and a worked example at the top. - On level: grade-level texts and questions with no scaffolds. - Advanced: more complex texts and open-ended questions that ask students to justify or compare. Label the versions with neutral names (Version A, B, C) so students can't tell which level they have. Include an answer key for each version at the end. I teach [Subject] to [Grade] at [School], a [public / private / charter] school. My class has [Number] students, including English learners and students with IEPs or 504 plans. Write at a reading level my students can handle, use clear headings and short paragraphs, and keep materials printable in black and white. Never invent student names, scores, diagnoses or personal details: use placeholders like [Student] where something is missing. Align to my state standards when I name them, and keep everything inclusive and age-appropriate.
