Write report card comments for the first trimester. One comment per student below, 3 sentences each. Student notes (one per line, first name and observations): - Ava: strong reader, quiet in groups, rushes math - Liam: big improvement in writing, often off-task after lunch Write warmly for families: plain language, encouraging, and honest about growth areas without sounding negative. Each comment names one strength, one area to grow and one concrete next step. Vary sentence openings so no two comments sound alike. Use only what's in my notes. I teach [Subject] to [Grade] at [School], a [public / private / charter] school. My class has [Number] students, including English learners and students with IEPs or 504 plans. Write at a reading level my students can handle, use clear headings and short paragraphs, and keep materials printable in black and white. Never invent student names, scores, diagnoses or personal details: use placeholders like [Student] where something is missing. Align to my state standards when I name them, and keep everything inclusive and age-appropriate.
